Bring the outdoors in.

Next time you need to replace or add a rug under the kitchen table, consider using a rug designed for outdoor use! They are made of a material that can take some aggressive cleaning. You can take them outside and hose them off. It will take the fear out of adding some warmth and protecting your floor at the same time. B.D.

Decorating Dolly!

When all else fails we pull out the big guns, Decorating Dolly. Note how she signal her disapproval by turning her head from the offensive pattern. She shows her approval by licking her choice. She is so clever! B.D.

Spring Newletter 2009

Green Furniture

When I say green, I am referring to the environmental impact NOT the color! We found theses tables that use wood harvested from old structures scheduled for demolition. To us it is the best of both worlds, using something that would otherwise end up in a landfill and having a beautiful piece of furniture with an impossible to replicate patina.

New Fabrics From Kravet's Museum of New Mexico Collection

We recently received a great collection from Kravet's Museum of New Mexico. It shows off different patterns and textures inspired from the collection of Navajo and Pueblo Indian rugs and ceremonial costumes at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture. In this collection, Kravet shows textural stripes adapted from Peruvian ponchos, Moroccan floor coverings and Turkish tunics from the ethnic collection of the Museum of International Folk Art. These patterns are bold and vibrant showing the cultural diversity for which Santa Fe, Peru, Morocco and Turkey are know for. Call today to come in and check out this collection. DM
